Potential Funding Applicants

Each year grants for funding are available for non-profit community organizations and social service groups that are involved in the delivery of preventive social services to residents in Cardston and the surrounding area. Organizations interested in receiving funding have the chance to apply each year and must meet provincial funding criteria. The grant application period typically opens in mid October and closes on November 30th of each year, with funding presentations being held in January. If your organization is considering starting a community program that is preventive based please feel free to contact the Town of Cardston to discuss the possibility of FCSS funding. They will be able to help determine if your program is eligible for FCSS funding, will help you in completing your application for funding, and will set up a date and time for you to present your program to the FCSS Board (who will ultimately decide on weather or not your program receives funding). Please don't hesitate to contact the Town if you have any questions: 403-653-5036 or angel@cardston.ca.

Agencies applying for funding are required to complete an application form and present to the Family and Community Support Services Advisory Committee.  All funds must be used in the calendar year in which they were received.

2018 Family and Community Support Services (FCSS) funding deadline was November 30, 2017 and is now closed.  Please check back here in October 2018 for more information for 2019 Funding Applications.
